Ever since the first model (S30) rolled off the assembly line in 1969, the Nissan Fairlady Z has been popular all over the world! In 1978, a second-generation model, the S130 type, appeared after undergoing a full model change. It inherited the basic form of the long nose and short deck, which improves the aerodynamics; the rear suspension was changed from struts to semi-trailing arms. The brakes were also upgraded to disk brakes for all four wheels. The engine was equipped with a 2-liter and 2.8-liter in-line 6-cylinder engine with an electronically controlled fuel injection device, giving it the character of a high-speed tourer. The T-bar roof, which allows both sides of the roof to be removed while leaving a thin central part, was adopted for the first time in 1980; it allowed owners to enjoy the feeling of openness comparable to that of an open car. The fame of the second-generation Fairlady Z, combining excellent driving performance with high safety and comfort, has been solid throughout the years.

The engine room, the back of the chassis, and the interior are all well-detailed; the wheels, headlights, and front and rear bumpers are plated.
